My Brother, Nathan

Here is the story of my selection of putting Nathan’s art onto shoes: 

 

My brother, Nathan, had a dream of creating a set of 54 pictures, all different but all one-eyed jokers. He created 36 different amazing drawings before he was taken from this earth by cancer.

My sister’s and I thought they would make really cool tattoos but we weren’t in the market for any ink. One day, I saw Ernie on Texas Country Reporter I knew getting Nathan’s jokers painted onto a pair of shoes was the only way to enjoy this wonderful art while sharing it with anyone who saw our feet.

We could honor our brothers memory and share his talent at the same time. I contacted tattoo my shoes and they helped me get 3 pairs of custom shoes for me and my two sisters for Christmas gifts in 2017. Each pair has 2 different jokers so now there are 6 of Nathan’s creations walking this earth.

Thanks to Ernie and Tattoo My Shoes for helping us show respect to an artist who left this planet too soon.
